I have been stung twice when purchasing used vinyl through Discogs. On both occassions, the albums that I was buying were categorized as NM. However, when they were received, they were far from that rating. One looked as though it had been used to serve a very cheesy pizza, while the other appeared to have been coated in something then left to dry, as it had a film that definitely affected the sound, when the album was played. So, I was quite skeptical when I considered ordering from Vinyl Pursuit. I went ahead anyway, mostly based on the reviews I read on their website. When my record arrived, the media and sleeve were exactly as they had been described. But, when I played the record, it was better than I expected. So, based on this experience, I'll be back. Thanks Vinyl Pursuit. You renewed my faith in buying used vinyl.
