The Original OG Metal 45' Adapters!

In the 1950s, Webster-Chicago Corporation, or Webcor, released their 45 RPM adapter during the speed wars between Columbia and RCA. Columbia offered the 12" 33 RPM LP, while RCA had their 7" 45 RPM record with its own turntable, making them incompatible with each other. The Webster-Chicago adapters, made of a tin disc with four teeth, were a holdover from the machine era and had the tendency to warp records over time. They were also costly and heavy, making them difficult to use with vintage RCA turntables. However, these adapters are recommended for their unique design and can be used for short-term use with 7" singles. Availability is limited.
